Citrus Fennel Fleur de Sel

I love making my own spice and seasoning mixes. Every time I come up with one that I just can’t get enough of, I make a big batch to last me a while. This is one of my staples to keep in the pantry.


1/4 cup Fleur de Sel

2 tablespoons Fennel (coarsely chopped – I like to just go over the fennel once or twice with a chef’s knife. This usually chops each fennel seed in half.)

2 tablespoons Granulated Orange Peel


Mix all of the ingredients together and reserve in your favorite spice container.

Recommended with: Seafood; Poultry; Sweet Potatoes/Yams; Steamed Vegetables; Salads.
